ABOUT ME
Claire Warner Crowell
Are you looking to find more enjoyment in your life? Maybe you’re wanting to expand your social circle or develop healthier daily habits. Perhaps you’re feeling down or anxious and really need a judgment free space to just talk. Sometimes we find ourselves craving change, growth, or healing. Therapy can be a great way to set and achieve new goals, explore our histories, and find a new path forward.
Finding the right therapist is crucial to your journey, and I encourage all prospective clients to ask questions and be picky! This is why I offer a free consultation for us to speak with each other and for you to have the opportunity to decide whether I might be the right fit for you.
I received my Master of Social Work degree from USC in 2020. My clinical background is primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based practice where together we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and create new behaviors to help yourself feel better. I also take from Attachment Theory, here we’ll dive into your relationship dynamics and identify patterns, your relationship history, and learn how to create more fulfilling relationships. I also like to use Acceptance and Commitment strategies to help you bring acceptance to the challenges in your life and move toward healing. Everyone is their own unique person, and I find that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all when it comes to therapy, so it is my goal to use strategies that will work best for you.
I strive to create an empathetic and safe space for you to deep dive into what is important to you, and to be a calm presence alongside you. I believe therapy is cooperative and it’s my goal for us to create your goals together, and for you to let me know where and what you want to explore in therapy.
I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker currently working under the supervision of Aviva Wolfson, LMFT, LPCC at Mindful Pasadena and it is my privilege to join you on your path to wellness. Call or email to set up a free consultation!
